no doubt is this a brilliant game in and by itself and this is indeed a beautiful port, giving you the option of playing various 'iterations' of the game on your Megadrive (i.e., you can choose 'original', 'C64', 'EGA', etc.

I'm running it off of my Mega Everdrive (flash) cart and it runs perfectly fine on my PAL Megadrive

Only 'issue' I have is that the MD version only gives you five lives, whilst all others give you 9

Not sure if the MD version is 'easier' somehow, but I do find it a bit off, since the game can be quite a challenge

But apart from that, this is a brilliant game that will easily stand the test of time, with slick controls, great graphics all around, beautiful sound-effects and music (although I did find the C64 theme, when gazing at the crescent moon to be a bit too 'fast' for my taste)

All in all, I would recommend just about anyone at least trying one of the various iterations of this game - it's challenging, fun and addictive, just like they used to make 'em.
