This was darling, and also the accessibility options were a godsend that absolutely made this for me. I have the reflexes and coordination of a drunk slug, and that's getting worse not better as I age. Too often I hit a skill ceiling in a game where I can SEE exactly what I need to do, I can figure it out, I know the solution, but I can't make my hands do what I need them to do to make it happen, and I have to abandon the game. Chicory never left me hanging. I could solve the puzzles and slow down the game as needs be until my hands could keep up with my brain. It left me free to enjoy the fantastic story, the gorgeous visuals, and charming characters, without ever worrying that I wouldn't get to see how things turned out. I hope this game is influential.
