We played this game last night and it lends itself to the fantastical in such a great way. While I normally GM a longer-running campaign with grand stakes and dire evils, playing Spelljammerz was a chance to step away from all that seriousness and indulge in the kind of childhood fantasies I would daydream about in my fourth grade classroom. The Hubris system all but incentivizes getting failures and mixed successes, because the more you fail the more bizarre you can become! Spelljammerz is great for one-shots and could easily be the foundation for a long campaign of shenaniganery.
