even at 24, this hits so many notes. obvious spoiler warning for what i'm about to go into. and maybe a content warning as well for parental situations.

i just got out of the mental hospital. it was my first time there, and i definitely should have been admitted when i was 16.

the thing that hit the hardest for me was when i clicked "shitty" at the end and it changed to "abusive parents". sometimes, trauma almost unlocks later in life. either way, reach out. to a therapist, a friend, anyone you can trust. people can totally help you.
