visuals: Loved the different layers with the leaves in the foreground etc. The player sprite missed some animations but looks good by itself.

gameplay: i had a lot of times that i missed logs to jump only by like 1 pixel, jumps without moving left/right are just a bit lower somehow. i would increase the jumphight by that one bit so the stand-still jump can also reach the logs.

The last jump looked impossible at first? I tried to jump on the bat xd, but landed on a leave on accident after a minute? didn't know that was a platform.

loved that there were checkpoints, very encouraging!
