I didn't know that there was a second HPS1 Demo Disc. I had Demo Disc 2020 installed on my computer for some time, but I didn't subscribe to the Youtube channel or get an Itch.io account, meaning I didn't discover HPS1 Demo Disc 2021 until this summer. And BOY Am I now making sure to correct that mistake!

A damn solid collection. I started with An Outcry, which was definitely one of the lesser games here (though the concept of a nameless trans protagonist actually makes a lot of sense), but then I moved onto Echostasis: Prologue, and NOW I'm getting the excercises in the field of retro-esque terror I came for. Games that have the best shows here include Agony of a Dying MMO, a dark and disturbing drama set during the end of an MMO gone horribly wrong, and Chasing Static, a Silent Hill/Twin Peaks-esque game that uses Static and White Noise as gameplay mechanics.

Overall, if you want a solid collection of chills and thrills, this is right up your alley.
