This was a very enjoyable story!
We all know writer's block at some point and it is cool to read a story about someone struggling with it.
I enjoyed the options. At first, I was drawn to the folded-up piece of paper, but then I was inclined to read them in chronological order. I decided to indulge my first instinct, and I think it made the story much better. It led me down a path where I started out more capable of relating with the character, as I learned about them. And even though I related the least with the last one I chose, I had a greater understanding and draw to the character.

One Question: At the beach, were they sharing one pb&j sandwich? Or was it meant to be "sandwiches"?
