This was a great concept. I enjoyed everything unravelling, the way the text is spread across the three familiar passages - how it changes, how you need to remember the correct beats (which after numerous cycles can probably be tough for players, never mind the protagonist in this situation!) and how quickly the protagonist's adherence to social norms begin degrading. Were you trapped in a time loop in a bigger environment, things might be different - less violent even - but being trapped in a checkout line is a special slice of hell, and evokes a strange level of anger in people who aren't stuck in a loop and who do have consequences to face. So it felt fitting here. Shout out to the music too, enjoyed those cues, how slow it became. It also became quite manic, after an error prompt where it seemed like it started the music track again, but I honestly couldn't tell if that was deliberately part of the game or not haha but it certainly added to the experience.
