I've only gotten through the first day or two of the game but this issue is enough to sour me on the experience a lot.
The "fan service" for the save screens is jarring and awful. It completely takes away from the tone of what is going on (and not in a good way) and takes me out of the game. The points at the end of the first and second game were bordering the edge of acceptable fan service because they didn't actually interfere with the story or game much. This does and it makes me sigh and dislike it every time I see it. Yes it "Technically" fits the character with what she does in... a frankly absurd amount of openings of the day. But it's still completely unnecessary to completely blast the screen with it. This is one of my biggest issues with the game and I hope dearly that it won't come to the next game of the series.
The story and evidence design so far are about on par with the second game and I'm enjoying the characters and story. The trial is... a little ridiculous with what one of the defendants was allowed to do and not in the suspension of disbelief "There's a whip wielding prosecutor" other tangentially related games have. Albeit makes *some* sense considering the lack of knowledge about what that meant the person had.
tldr; game is interesting like the last one but marred by unavoidable fan service somewhat frequently.
