When I picked up the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality, one of my friends told me to move this to the top of the list of things to check out. He's never steered me wrong, so I did.

There are two primary things that I especially love about this system.

The first is the approaches - instead of having stats like "strength" or "wisdom" you have skill in tackling situations in a particular way. That does two things: it reinforces character, and it also allows you to have different supposed power levels represented without breaking game balance.

The second is the care with which the inherent tropes in this have been selected. The game's own marketing lists Firefly, Mass Effect, and Star Wars, but you could also easily do Aliens, Pandorum, The Chronicles of Riddick, one of the ships from The Matrix, the Star Power webcomic, etc. The ship and character sections let you achieve depth and interest without getting mired in excessive minutia.

A really solid and interesting RPG offering. Well worth your time.
