You gotta respect the creative team for all the stuff that went unsaid in the script. All that history behind Possum Springs is actually interesting, and very real: the miners' unions and the literal, violent battles for workers' rights are part of the long overlooked list of historical episodes of modern post-industrial, capitalist societies. This game is deep, is what I mean.
