PublicLewdness rated Lilith Hall

PublicLewdness rated a Visual Novel 5 years ago
A downloadable Visual Novel for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Lilith Hall serves as a spin off/prequel to another of the developers games “Arena Circus”.  In that vein it does it’s job well and gets you used to the lore and how the world functions.  It had a good cast of characters that were interesting and enough choices to try to make the story your own. The end seemed a bit rushed and it kind of came out of nowhere. I felt like the story was just getting to maybe a midway point and the story between Raven and 080 seemed to be just getting started  and then it just ended. It could have used more detail near the end as well as more of an epilogue. It had one but still left many unanswered questions. The art and soundtrack was both well done. The intro credits were also superb and something many visual novels lack.

I played Lilith hall on Linux. It never crashed on me and I didn’t notice any spelling errors. The game allows you to save whenever you want and has eighty save slots for that.

Game Version Played: 1.6
Game Engine: Ren’Py 7.3.5.606
Graphics API: OpenGL

Disk Space Used: 879 MB
CPU Usage: 1-15 %
RAM Usage: 2.1-2.5 GB

The ending may have felt rushed but I enjoyed the game up until that point. I finished it in ninety one minutes and paid $5 USD for it. The value is fair in my mind. Hopefully “Arena Circus” provides more depth but regardless Lilith Hall was a decent game in it’s own right and worth the play through.

My Score: 7.5/10
