To start with - Kohate is not my normal genre.  I dislike most horror genre as they tend to really not bother with graphics or story and just rely on jump scares to get them through.  Kohate... is not one of those games.  There is story here, there is lore behind the scary.  As you play you slowly unravel a fairly complex story and a dystopian future.  The puzzles are freaking hard and THAT STUPID MONSTER...I seriously hate that monster.

The ambience is non stop - the music and the visuals are intense.  The level of detail for the price is unbelievable.  It's only $5 bucks and there is easily $20 worth of content here.
