The appeal of this game is fascinatingly two-fold... it is both a game that appeals to terraforming building sims, but also it is a game that is the polar opposite to that, undoing the damage of an environmental disaster by building machines to bring the ecosystem back... and then undo the industrialization and only leave the recovered ecosystem back.
It takes a little while for the game to really get into gear (specifically, the second part of the second level), but it is incredibly worth it, and it is also very aesthetically intricate, which also reminds me of simulators of the late 90s.
