clinkclank rated ENDLESS SCROLL

clinkclank rated a memory 5 years ago
A browser memory made in HTML5.

The fact that this captures such a genuine moment of interaction - in ways that don't tend to ever get written well - is just amazing. It actually captures the way we communicate with each other, the way we insert emotional content and nuance into our text.

Speaking of the emotional content and nuance, this is such a genuine little set of moments. Tiny little pieces of contemplation, tiny little pieces of human interaction and those little moments of reaching out to feel less alone. Just lovely.

I found the end a bit... much? I suppose? In something that is otherwise broadly quite vulnerable, mundane and real, it moves in a somewhat melodramatic direction. That did take away a star for me, but it isn't a big deal and I can see that the way it ends may resonate with some. I would really like to be able to rate this 3.5 stars, but here we are.

Overall: a good lil message, a good lil piece, an intricate and complex little vibe conveyed in such a minimalist and genuine lil way. Love it.
