An incredible VN/RPG!

Ignore the review bombers! Seriously I don't know if its because the game uses Ai or what but people are being crazy out here. 

This game is top 5 of my all time list for "diamond in the rough" and I have been in adult game world for over a decade.

I was admittedly skeptical from the ai art but that proved to not be an issue. This game is not a 30 min scam. It has real depth (several hours of gameplay) and some of the best adventure  storytelling I have seen in this genre for awhile. The creator understood the most important goal of story writing: make your audience care!

To explain further, many games in the adult genre are fun but once the post nut clarity hits we are often content to move on. With Serenia I walked away still thinking about the story, its potential, my excitement for future content, and engaging with creator about my ideas. To say this is rare is like saying a total solar eclipse is an overcast day. Only a few hit like this game does.  

A fair warning that there is content that would be upsetting to some audiences. I fall somewhere in between and the game provides the options to avoid the darker side of the scenes so I walked away without issue. I recommend you consider carefully the options the game provides and decide for yourself. 

My final endorsement is this: 

If fantasy adventure with a morality system, charming characters, and a great story are for you I wholly recommend you give this game a real shot.
