the drone feature really surprised me! it was very refreshing after all of the spec reading. i love the aesthetics, the color palette, and the tone of the writing especially. the check ups from the computer to assure you're still healthy and stable to complete the mission are my favorite, as are the radio messages...
there are only three (minor) pieces that i wish were implemented in the game: a controls page (though the controls are simple enough to figure out eventually, it can be overwhelming with all of the ui) and a chart of what temperatures humans can withstand (though, i guess that's also part of the estimation...)... the implementation of earth's atmospheres and temperatures is helpful, but i wish the screen about how humans need 02 in the air was permanent and not just flashed in the beginning. it's key to our survival! i also would be and am curious to learn how the energy drains or regains itself when not engaging with the planets. it seemed to spike with random events, but i couldn't tell if/when it was regenerating on its own.
and all of this feedback refers specifically to ease of gameplay, which, when accounting for the mystery and uncertainty of space, of trying to find a safe home... isn't needed to enjoy the game at all.
lovely game, lovely soundtrack. thank you for sharing!
