Woney rated EVFX Berserker

Woney rated a asset pack 72 days ago
A downloadable asset pack.

Hello! Long time supporter. Over the years of purchasing and using your animations, I've come to appreciate the hard work you do to put out these animation packs about once a month or so, but I've finally been able to put a piece together some feedback together that I feel is helpful for you going forward.

Within this pack you feature a multitude of weapons in these animations ranging from an axe, a hammer, a flail, and a spiked club. There is even an animation where its implied the person using the skill is using their hands to punch someone rapidly before there's a loud "K.O" sound effect and accompanying text. But what kind of "Berserker" type character usually found in the types of games developers would using this pack for would need an announcer during their fight? It's also not very common to see these kinds of characters wielding flails, as they were not historically accurate for the "Nordic berserker" archetype people think of when they think of the class, as they usually used swords, spears, and axes. But of the 16 animations in the pack, only one features the axe at all, and the hammers used in the animations do not look like a war hammer at all, but more like a hammer you'd see at a carnival for a "test your might" game or something similar.

This is getting lengthy, but coming off of your most recent pack, "Archmage", where all of the animations served the theme and potential classes associated within the archmage archetype perfectly (and honestly in ways I never thought of), I hope the next Evolved Effects pack is more focused, because as it stands, in an attempt to be general for wide purchase, I fear as a developer, there aren't enough animations here that truly serve me to use them in a focused or fulfilling way.

Keep up the good work and happy creating!
