It was a bittersweet game with a bittersweet ending, The podcast with Mimi & Moira as the ending dialog with all the characters and credits nearly brought me to tears. The cloning and cannibalism are just the right amount of absurd for an Ace attorney style trial, and all my questions where answered before the credits. Any issue I have with this I also have with how Ace attorney works, so I can say you're very accurate on that mark. (Also I immediately picked realized that Pippen and Omelas where gay, so picking the ring wasn't even a difficult option)

Art is great, Character designs fantastic, I loved Katsu's and Marcie's frustrated/pressed art. Kim is a fun design, though didn't really realize she was a skunk until it was said outright.

Music worked for what it needed to be, It didn't outright awe me, but I couldn't say it was out of place or outright bad.

The writing was stellar, and Katsu being so protective and determined to keep the restaurant afloat so he can eat meat being foreshadowed in his introduction, How he basically admits his motive as an explanation on why Mimi would kill her sister. The whole intro dialogue of Chef de Roni showcasing the meal. Chef de Roni isn't villainous, Morally questionable? Yeah, but he tried to make it as legal and justifiable as possible to eat meat. And you've gotta respect the effort.
