I was given SaveMe by a friend. They had loaded it up onto a thumbdrive alongside some others and encouraged me to read them on my laptop while I was gone and without internet. SaveMe was the 'stand-out' of them. It explores themes of familial exploitation, suicidal ideation, escapism, and most importantly, love. You should read it. It is immensely lovely in its sincerity, and maybe you'll think about it every time you see red flannel, like I do.
