this one is hard to rate. there are some really high positives, and really low negatives. first off the design and style is really good quality and nice to look at. i think the night gameplay is really good for the most part, and the story is not bad, some of the minigame stuff is cool. but the flaws draw it down a lot unfortunately. i think some of the flaws were intentionally designed, but they still take away from the experience a lot. said flaws would be: the diceroll system feels a little out of place, like if you get bad rng then the environment treats you terrible plus you miss out of big moments in the game, unless you abuse loading saves (which isnt easy to do either), and i know the whole point is to get it right later on after youve made your stats higher, but that takes ages to do and even at max stats you still can get bad rng and then they treat your character like trash. the other major flaw is that the intended progression is soooooooo slow to the point it drip feeds you new stuff if you dont use cheats to level your character. i wish i hadnt felt the need, but unfortunately i used cheats big time and still the progression didnt feel sped up and unfair like you would think, it just felt mostly normal. i played this for a lot of hours in total, i dont know how long, but i know it was a lot. if i hadnt used cheats i think i would die of old age before i got to the ending. so i think if you rework the progression and upgrades stuff then this will easily be a 10/10 game. i really look forward to more, and i hope the best for your team

also this part is not commentary or rating related, but just some ideas. maybe for fun you could add some stuff like more customization for yuna, like you can order wigs or hair dyes, maybe eye color contacts, stuff like that would definitely be awesome to see. plus more clothing options for her will always be a plus.
