Wonderful game. Loved the natural build up of the mechanics! It was really cool to slowly have more things to worry about, from taking care of the children, to dealing with the electricity, boarding up the windows and vents and dealing with the stalker while hunting Tommy.

Setting was great too. The state of the apartment changing over time introduced a lot of story without having to go through almost any exposition. The way the text messages kept isolating Mary from the rest of the world really added to the sense that I was trapped in this place and had no way out. Making Carl be the one to explain who Tommy really is was a stroke of genius, especially after the passive-aggressive texts prior to that. I naturally went to Mary's defense, even though if she did what he claims it would be quite horrible.

I also loved the autonomy the children had, especially towards the end as things went from creepy to terrifying. I... actually ended up accidentally shooting Kyle dead on the final night when he popped out from under the bathroom sink while I was hunting for Tommy :(
