A cool concept, but I was extremely frustrated by how slowly the original character (the one on the bottom) moves. It would be quite annoying in any game, but as a recursive game it inherently gets tedius, and all of that time that is wasted waiting for the bottom character to finish their own moves really adds up as the game goes on.

If you want a game that does almost the exact same gimmick better (in my opinion), and is free, check out a game called "Press Ctrl".
