It was lovely. The only issue that I had was with the gardener mode - the timer is overly precise and will begin a new sunset countdown immediately after the last one. As such, I was not able to progress in this mode.
Tech difficulty out of the way, the rest of the game was fun, and quite clever. I enjoyed making new friends and helping strangers, the flowers were gorgeous, the use of pixelated image assets was so clever and made an incredible aesthetic for the world. The stories were genuinely well-made, too - from the silly ones to the tragic ones. I reached the end of the game feeling warm and melancholy. I ended up not meeting Lucian, but I think that's okay. The vampire gardener misses the one last being they could have aided before falling asleep forever. Cecil, finally growing past their self-conceit, returns to find that they can never speak to their lonely cousin again. The world continues. I hope that the river stayed clear. I hope that the garden became a meadow.
