I'm not particularly convinced a human wrote this, and even if they did... it's just miserable to read. After going through it once by myself, and once with a group, it just. didn't get better. The directorial decisions, like only have one sentence per line, the constant "it is x, not y, not z, but x" over and over and over, the on the nose folklore references, it's just. unbearable. It's just kind of a story about getting guilt tripped by your shitty friend, masked under 10,000 words loosely trying to adapt a ttrpg. And at the end it tries to hand us the whole conclusion because it couldn't deliver it to us diagetically. This was submitted 12 days in advance, and those twelve days definitely could have been used to par it down severely.
