Deeply enamored by the prospect that deferring taste to Algorithms, TasteMakers and ugh, POP REVIEW SCORES is itself an ideological bondage that definitively limits responsibility and ownership, yet also delegates blame and thus an entitled anger for when the above fails to capture the consumer's taste in full

Admittedly while still looking for my own "tribe of freak-taste-kin", that being open and vulnerable enough to be open of your own taste will bestow agency/subjecthood unto a consumer to eventually emancipate themselves into the "ownership of taste"

...although just as admittedly due to my limitations of media taste: barely getting back into basic reading, and struggling to find the right key words for search curation, much less being way into edgier marginal mediums does make a tangible barrier to asking for recommendations, while still things to overcome, perhaps should have some weight of social shames or just lack of interfacing tech or social skills ARE at least mentioning as barriers

Tho I guess that does come down to the will to power...through excuses, since ultimately we can't be made low enough to "THERE'S NOTHING TO PLAY/WATCH/CONSUME" levels (as of now Blusky is reposting the same infamous NINTENDO HAS FORGOTTEN MARIO youtuber who hated the Nintendo direct of 90% massive JRPG Switch reveals to say case study). 

At some point, to show your willingness to develop taste, you do at least need to show your spice tolerance as a status symbol or else be ridiculed for thinking MSG is "too foreign" for your palate (or another metaphorical media equivalent)

also more on tech side, the word wrapping for the manifesto constantly cuts off at 10 total on-screen lines, so perhaps having this as a website written blog-essay or at least presented with regards to kerning or other typography would be appreciated...tho the Title drops are quite pithy
