this game fucking broke me. the writing was beautifully done, i could see the passion and art put into this, its rare to find a game that is both excellently drawn, written masterfully, and coded in a way that completely immerses you. it felt real, i could almost imagine myself as sam, and discovering what i'd had as a nagging suspicion was earthshattering. i went into this game thinking that it resembled the picture of dorian gray by oscar wilde, and in a way, it's akin to the man's greatest works. both this game and his books exhibit deep roots of passion for the craft that i never thought i would see in a game, but in hindsight, i should've expected it. both sam, and the developers have cared deeply enough to do what they have done, and i only wish i could express the impact this game has had on my very psyche. i would give anything to experience the pain this game put me through again, and it almost paints me that a game has shook me this deeply. thank you, from the depths of my heartstrings, for sharing this piece of living, breathing art, and for plucking it from your mind, weaving it into code, and angling it in just the right way so it would hurt the most when it ended. you truly have a talent <3
