i love this game so much, everything about it is wonderful. i'm such a sucker for retro operating systems and pastel, for one thing, so it was just amazing to look at. second of all, i felt so connected to alex!! i remember that same feeling of dawning wonder, like...not wanting to be your assigned gender probably means you're a different one! all the characters felt so real, esp as someone who was really active in fandom in the 2000s (slightly later than 1999 but still lol). just an overall amazing game <3
