Currently ranged has the advantage on DPS as the way reading an attack only happens when an enemy are within their attack range. I feel like this puts the melee at a severe disadvantage, especially when they are created since there may not always be an enemy for them to start the charge with. Maybe allowing attacks to charge naturally or even just starting units with a full attack?
Game is super fun outside and this is gonna be great with some tightening on progression and maybe a way to sway the drops with more upgrades.

Just got done. Also hoping for a chance of more upgrades on the older units so things aren't so straight forward
