Before I review this game I must say I didn't reach victory. I am unsure it exist. This game traps you in an endless loop, and promises a way to escape it. An ending. And you are never sure of the truth of this statement, but that unsureness is what makes it so brilliant and adds to the story. Light Rain is a deep critique of war and capitalism. It puts you in charge of an army to fight animals, so you think you are in the right, not hurting your fellow humans. But then it hits you with the plot twist, wham line of "a wretched two-legged clean-sheered animal known as human". And of course! Humanity is part of the animal kingdom! How could you even thought differently. This forces the player to question things like what is really humanity, what is really okay to hurt and was it only alright to hurt when the humanity of our enemy was not recognized? This combined with the exploration of cult mentality, and devastaning, beautiful lines such as "with sadness full of greed" or "I saw this in your eyes the moment I laid my eyes on your eyes", this story will haunt you forever and it will make you question all your life and current values.
