This might just be my favorite thing I've found on itchio for some years. The games detective work was great and the psychic gimmick wasn't overly relied on to force unrelated information (that is to say it doesn't do anything like "this random rock has an imprint on it so now you know who the killer was" which I suppose is just a function of it having good writing.) The music was unobtrusive but didn't seem to loop after some point leaving my playthrough in silence. character portraits feel like they were taken from newspaper illustrations from around the time and helped with the immersion. the hint feature was implemented very well, buried enough in the menus that you are not tempted to go to it too much and the hints were very short and to the point.
I am looking forward checking out more work from the dev.
