I say this about like every visual novel once I finish them, but nontheless, this might've been the best VN I've read so far. The art was amazing (some of the face sprites will forever be integrated into my brain) , music was great, tension was set up insanely well and at one point I stopped playing at night because it felt way too eerie, and the storyline is like, better than any movie I've seen or book I've read. Only regret I have is taking like over month long breaks between chapters because it'd only make it a lot more messy to piece together. Replayability also seems off the charts, being able to see "oh thats when this happened, thats when this started going on". Near the end, it did take me a really long time to figure out the last Kurt and Andrew segment was a flashback to before he went to the hideout, which I dont think was a flaw of the game it was just my brain being fried trying to process everything 3 hours into a session, plus it made it kinda more interesting in some way. There's a ton of room for a sequel (which to clarify I don't think is necessary or should even happen), either continuing the storyline with a new generation (IMO a bad choice, I feel like those types of sequels tend to only worsen the "franchise") or just like short fluff as an after-story, which I honestly think shouldn't happen either, because there is something nice about just being able to think about what happens in the future. The last sequence with Ian was also extremely heart-warming and made me shiver, also I only briefly checked the start of a new game to see the first few lines and, that's messed up. I feel like its kind of better that I forgot about that line and the months between me starting and ending the game might've helped with that, but also I feel like I would've probably forgotten anyways. Overall, I'd keep writing about this vn for years to come, but it is a school night and I should've gone to sleep like an hour ago. 100% recommend playing it and I will probably replay it within a year, I have no criticism and it's honestly perfect.
