BIT Mysteries rated The Tomb of Horrors

A browser game made in HTML5.

This was a delight, presented in JRPG format is a faithful recreation of one of Gary Gigax's most famous (or infamous?) modules. But beyond that, it's a fun experience. Creepy in just the right way, the game offers music in key areas and dead silence in others (and very good music IMHO).

Also the characters are charming, their dialog is well handled and has a fun JRPG touch while remaining grounded to the source material. I think of it as a cross between Final Fantasy and a normal D&D session with a competent GM.

The game responds well, though I recommend using the keyboard rather than the mouse (there's a reason it's not mentioned, zooming around in a trap filled complex is not a good idea).

If you really want to nitpick, there's some part where it reverted to Spanish for a short sentence (can't remember where exactly). I think it was not very noticeable since nobody commented on it.

I not only heartily recommend it as a game but also as a great foundation when reviewing the adventure module itself (in case you wish to put your players to the ultimate test). It fully deserves the 5 stars... My one gripe is that, there's just this one module and it's so good that finishing it leaves you wanting more. So 5 stars it is!
