Review of V0.1.5.8a

The first thing you'll notice is Pokemon can have up to 4 abilities working at once, it's an interesting choice but it might make balancing a difficult task in the future, we'll have to see, I think a difficulty selector that changes the general amount of abilities trainers have would be perfect, but I know this isn't the type of game to focus on that so I'm not expecting anything on that front.

Then there's the difficulty, most of the demo is pretty easy, only a little annoying because your starters, Ghastly and Abra, struggle here and there, but then the first and only Gym Leader available is actually pretty hard, this is somewhat balanced by the fact that you can steal Pokemon, with Ghastly I stole her Minior for myself which is absurdly strong for the start when everyone's still stuck as Stage 1 Pokemon, and then challenged her again with her own Pokemon.

On the topic of stealing Pokemon, both Ghastly and Abra can do this, and I'll admit it's pretty damn cool, probably my favorite thing about this game, but they do so differently.

I only tried Abra for 15 minutes but after you defeat a trainer you can straight up hypnotize them to give up their Pokemon, I really hope that's not it because Ghastly in comparison is way better, since Ghastly can directly do so in the fight, working kind of like a Self-Destruct that let's you keep their Pokemon temporarily, then if you use that Pokemon for a while (I tried defeating 5 pokemon) you get to keep it after unpossesing them, as well as that pokemon inherting an ability from your Ghastly, this is the feature I love the most and I'm looking forward to stealing Pokemon from unique trainers like future gym leaders.

And finally there's the adult content everyone's here for, if you're a man (or woman) of culture then you might've heard of Pokemon Psychic Adventures, a quirky little romhack cooked up in the hypnohub forums, I absolutely loved that game and Mind & Body pretty much follows the same concept, so far there's not much, but I like where they're going, you should get your first taste once you meet your "rival" Leaf at her home, and depending on wether you picked Abra or Ghastly you'll get access to a differet flavor of content (just like the stealing mechanic) but you'll unlock the other half after the first gym following some side quests, and again, I'm not sure if the Abra route has something similar but Ghastly and the other ghost you'll catch after the first gym give your possesed victims a different look and options which I wasn't expecting but I'm in love with, I just hope the dev didn't bite more than they can chew with this choice.

I guess I should mention this game has also it's own unique story, not much to talk about yet but so far so good, just a fair warning, you'd expect to be kind of king of the world in the making with the fetish this game tackles, but you're still under a Mistress so I hope that doesn't ruin your power fantasy.

I'm honestly pretty satisfied with this demo, I'm only removing a star because of two things, first, a few bugs (i.e. I got stuck in a wall), and second, I lost too much time looking for Lillie when she's not even in the game yet, it'd be perfect if in the future they say when a quest is unfinished in the quest menu.

TL:DR; Amazing concept with a lot of potential, not only delivers in the adult content, but also has some interesting unique features that makes battles a tad bit different, looking forward to what this game has to offer.
