This game kind of in a way feels like an extraction game. You sail to an island, build up a colony to complete challenges and acquire Renown, then "extract" by sailing off for another island to setup another colony for the king. In between you spend your Renown for Perks to aid you in future runs. Gameplay loop feels solid and rewarding.
