I think it's a shame the vaporwave, fullscreen, vhs aesthetic of the game never really ties in to much else, beyond the bits about being a hipster, because I really like the way they were otherwise utilized. I like the play on crystal light like the beer, as well as the lighting from the city, same with the b-side lonely highways. The backgrounds are also really well curated, and I like how carefully the music is used, while the sfx are almost ever present. Admittedly the whole thing isn't usually my type of appeal... but them being disasters is pretty hot. The actual written erotica is fine enough, but the set up itself is what had me lip biting emoji. It's a good entry, and well polished, complete. I also appreciate the sort of past tense telling really gives the feeling that things did in fact work out, or at least, it does to me.
