ThatGuyThatPlaysGames rated Soul Void

A browser game made in HTML5.

Was into it at first, but the husk's section is just...very tonally dissonant with the rest and completely put me off. It felt so, extremely forced, and really took me out of the game with your character's whole "speech" to them. It made me cringe, to be frank, hard enough that I felt it worth stopping there, unfortunately. It is what it is, the rest was neat, even if I wish you could actually check your inventory and backtrack more, just in-case you missed items by going through the wrong doors first. The way I played, that never became an issue (I think) but I can guarantee it'll happen to others, depriving them of the extra neat dialogue and interactions unlocked by having certain items, and that just kinda sucks, missing that because you happened to walk through the wrong doorway first a few too many times.
