I've played this game a while ago, I've also played Valentine Otome and I'm currently wanting for Christmas Otome! I've read the fanbooks and let's say I am hella bias! The sprites are kinda old but they don't look ugly, it just you can kinda tell how long some sprites were made compared to others. 

I am a lover of Halloween Otome! 5/5 Tyler is my bae.
