Played the currently available 3 chapters in a single sitting which took me a bit over 6 hours (I expect the time spent to be a lot shorter if you don't go after sidequests).
Story: I enjoyed the playable characters and their interactions, though the more dramatic parts of their stories felt clunky. The severity of the main plotline makes the sidequests feel out of place, but they do give the player an opportunity for a deeper understanding of the characters.
Gameplay: The sniper mode is a minigame that doesn't appear outside of the intro for chapter 1, it's simple and not very demanding. The turn based combat is fun with a small amount of tactical depth. Somehow, I managed to get through all the encounters I had without losing my whole party though it did come close to that a few times. The exploration felt rewarding with items in distinct boxes scattered around on and off the main path.
Presentation: The art and animation is definitely the strongest part of the experience. There are a lot of cute details put in the animation and the character designs are distinctive while staying fairly grounded. The music is neat, too.
Don't treat this as a serious in-depth review, I have played this game for only a single playthrough, after all. I liked what I got from it and will return to it when there is another update, even if I did get misled about the game from the introductory page, that seems quite fitting to the story, however.
