So, Tianhehui.

This one is one VN I wish I had played years ago, Tianhehui is such original fantasy story that is very refreshing to read, it has a good amount of exposition but the world feels alive and it's own spin but also having real life similarities that makes it more grounded and relatable. 

Tex is an amazing protagonist he serves the purpose of asking question about the place for players who are not familiar with Chinese culture but he is not asking question all the time and can even explain some things himself making him less of a question bot of the story and giving more then just being a player avatar.

The story is very interesting take on Fantasy genre you normally don't see in most fiction giving a lot of perspectives and even a lot of interpretation of events but without trying to guide the player to the "Correct" answer and there is enough openness to let players theorize and try to predict the future events.

Presentation is superb the amount of CGs this game have is staggering, is one things I expect of VNs with huge budgets and high profile names like Fate, Stein;Gate and When they cry series, which helps a lot of setting the mood and helping with visualize the scenes better and read better the character's body language.
The music is very good it fits the mood perfectly and some tracks and very emotional.

But the main quality of Tianhehui is their characters, they fit the common tropes very well but also bringing their own spin and quirks to the story but also there is always more then you would see at first. Bai Yu's ideal man, Chen Hu being a himbo, Mo Xia's Tsundere behavior and Kerlno jokester antics really helps players gravitate to what they might like in the potential romance and I have to say the build of the romance is amazing, it never feels like they should just kiss already but also don't feel like is pointless spending time with them.

Other side characters like Sallye and Rou Feng helps also balance the mood and give their own takes but don't feel like token female characters.

I also have to point out the character outfits changing a lot is insanely good, it is the VN with the most outfits I seen so far and makes me curious to see what they will wear next.

Overall TianHeHui is a very very fun VN that mix well all elements of the story be it mystery, action, romance or drama and is very worth the time invested in it.
