Manor of Amenisa (as the Visual Novel likes to keep reminding you, in case you forget) takes a while to get use to, but it is quite rewarding.
The voice acting is at first unverving but you warm up to it and realize it's pretty decent.
Shiori default face looks a bit derpy but otherwise she's well drawn, espically in the H-scenes. Ryunosuke is a bit more stiff, but with him being a butler that is excusable.
The story is a bit humdrum but it's interesting enough to keep you playing, espically with two paths to explore. It does fall to being too wordy at times, but it's good overall, helped by the VN's short playing time.
The H-scenes are really good. Not animated but well drawn, storyboarded and voiced to make them truly excellent. Plus the developers wisely put in a CG and Scene Replay, which a lot of VN bizarrely ignore.
The music is well used, giving a peaceful but haunting feel to it.
The sum of its parts add up to a VN that gives some priced VN a run for its money.
