Powerful aesthetic, lovely designs of characters, very expressive but notably a decent enough story to remain invested. Though be warned some of it is not for the faint of heart for a brief scene that is present in the current version in the game's second last interaction involving a character taking their life. Otherwise, you're in for a trip.

Edit: As of R13 it has improved a great deal. Some stuff you just won't ever see unless you experienced the past updates which is just a matter of lighting than anything else. Some of it is a bit tricky gallery wise if you don't know what you're doing or if you forget what route you are pursuing. The Walkthrough is more than enough to get what you want for the most part. The only thing I recommend is taking your time and choose wisely. Honestly one of the better elements of this game is the sound design and rustic feel for a period of time lost and tucked away from everything else. There's a lot going on in the story that you must be quite tentative when exploring to see it all. There's a lot of routes and of course the route to not chase after any of the ladies. Either way, it is well written with a lot of variation that you don't often come across a game of this caliber.
