The delineation between the single "player character" and the several "volunteer GMs" is delicious. Very deliberate and well-thought-out. Having the protagonist be the one to pick the direction they take and moves to make, and the volunteers be the ones to answer the questions posed as things move forward, it reconstitutes the trad Many Player/One GM divide into something far more suited to both how I like to play and how I like to GM. It also feels far more like playing the kinds of story I read about in fantasy novels. I'm gobsmacked more people haven't designed games in this style.
