I thoroughly loved reading about Faolan. I feel like this VN is tailored made for my tastes, maybe I'm just way too into this kind of power dynamic. 

There're a few missed opportunity for drama in the opening section, where the character beats felt quite sudden, but those could be fixed with some simple editorial changes. Even with the reveal in the end, the dissonance of how quickly Angus falls for Faolan doesn't go away, which I thought was also a missed opportunity to push the power play, or play around with some props that the world building mentioned in passing. The later parts of the story felt a bit melodramatic and could use a couple connecting scenes.

That being said, overall this was very much an unhinged and guilty pleasure read.
