Something about horror makes romance more poignant to me. This game has perfected this notion. Every scene breathes life into the story, leaving me increasingly curious and sinking into a comforting familiarity — funny, considering how the world is so entrenched in horror and gore. It must be because of how they're perfectly understated. 

I also adore the romance scenes. I didn't expect them to be so intimate. A lot of the themes perfectly vocalized my own feelings and desires to the point I was left in awe. I felt seen. That made my experience so much more surreal and unforgettable.
