I found myself confused about the game's lack of engagement. The only way to lose is by getting bored. This is no limit to how often you can refill your energy, so always tapping Up makes the mechanic trivial. I was hoping for some more dramatic changes in the art as you continued, but everything basically stayed the same.
Simply adding a cooldown to your energy refill or adding minor gameplay twists like avoiding eating certain food would go a long way in making this more engaging. Otherwise, I wished the expectations were made clearer at the start.
