The Wretch system feels like walking on a tightrope. I wrote entries where things are not looking bright for my character; I've never written intense entries about the hopelessness of my character's circumstance. It feels daunting to replay it with no chance of winning. Yet, I get a kick from the thrill of writing actual horror.
