By far one of the most beautifully written, styled, paneled, and executed works of comic storytelling I've yet encountered. So much subtlety of character and presentation, all of which ties effortlessly into themes that are....deep, and tragic - yet so very real, and human.

It is a gift, being shown a so carefully wrought exploration, with all the nuance such tragedies benefit from most (self reflection and recognition of the self in others, grief, sacrifice, to name a few).

I could wax purple prose on and on for this; but let me instead be frank.

This comic is a goddamn work of art, and I will likely be rotating Val's absolute MASTERY of queer visual storytelling in my gay little brain for the rest of time.

And to you Val; I hope my extremely enthusiastic support of your work doesn't come to annoy you - I hope you have every opportunity to keep making and sharing the beautiful authorial voice present in all of what you do!
