MaximumBloop rated Fix My Heart

A browser game made in HTML5.

Considering that this game is...

  • Really simple conceptually
  • Pretty short
  • Very fast paced (because of the timer)

...you'd think that the platforming would be TOP NOTCH. But, unfortunately, it wasn't. The actual control over the character felt really janky because:

  • There wasn't any jump buffer (or, if there was, there wasn't enough), so walking off of 1-block-high ledges, I'd frequently miss the jump input.
  • The character felt really slippery, so landing on single blocks was really hard to do. The game has several jumps that make this an issue.
  • The actual collision allows for you to walk over 1-block-gaps in a really buggy way.

I liked the idea of your platforming being on a timer, although I do wish the timer displayed milliseconds. Also, the game was fun once I figured out the controls, but by the time I really became comfortable with the controls, the game was practically over.
