I played this game today on the Open Hearth

We played it as a duet game and it worked well. It feels quite gamy at times, which is not a negative at all. Overall a very solid game that felt like a quicker, less granular MicroScope at times. My bleeding lefty heart would have liked a more critical examination of archaelogy as a method of imperialist violence, but that might be a bit much to ask from a 36 page pdf. 

I can't say that it left me transformed (like some other games did), but for what it is and for what it aims to be, it is a very solid game. We enjoyed our three hour session, it taught itself very well out of the book, and we didn't encounter any big rules issues or confusions along the way.
